
ACM40322 Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training
Course Eligibility
In order to enrol in this course, you will need to meet the following eligibility requirements:
• must be over 18 years of age;
• must be a domestic student, or have proof of unrestricted study rights in Australia;
• commitment to online learning and self-study;
• a broad range of appropriate interpersonal communication skills to be able to build relationships, conduct community and industry engagement activities, make presentations etc.;
• sound literacy and numeracy abilities (Year 10 English or equivalent as a minimum);
• access to a computer and internet;
• digital capability to navigate an online learning system, send and receive emails, use the internet, video conferencing, word processing etc.;
• ability and availability to attend one 4-day face-to-face workshops held in Sydney;
• access to dogs (and sometimes their guardians) to work with for practical activities and assessments;
• physical ability to meet the practical requirements of the course (training dogs, demonstrating training to others, conducting adult and puppy training classes etc.);
• access to equipment to enable audio visual recording of practical assessments (e.g.,flash/digital camera, iPhone, video camera);
• access to video editing software (e.g., Windows Movie Maker etc.);
• have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Course Enrolment Process

Applicant reads and reviews the Student Handbook and Course Guide (available when you register your interest);

Applicant completes online application form via the Delta Institute website;

Delta Institute processes application fee;

Applicant receives link to complete and submit a pre-training and LLND (language, literacy, numeracy and digital capability) review;

Delta Institute reviews applicant’s information and eligibility to enrol in the course;

Delta Institute and applicant meet via video call, where required, to discuss application in more detail and support opportunities available;

Delta Institute sends applicant confirmation of enrolment;

Course payment plan is activated, and tax receipt is issued.
Course Fees
The full course fee for ACM40322 Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training is $6749.
The course fee is payable by instalment with the application fee payable at application submission. Monthly and weekly payment plans are available.
