Why positive reinforcement training?

Positive reinforcement training has a strong evidence base supporting it's effectiveness.  Understanding this will assist you in enriching your life and the life of your pet. When you understand the hows and whys of animal behaviour, the reason for the effectiveness of positive reinforcement methods suddenly becomes clear. The human-animal bond is a powerful connection and it's valuable that we all take the time to learn about why our pets behave as they do in order help this life long relationship flourish.
